Reviewer Comments:	BLDG PLAN REVIEW - SEE ATTACHED EMAIL SENT TO ANGIE THIS DATE; Hello Angie, I've reviewed the content of the plans for the above project and need the following; 1) The IBC Code analysis (occupancy, occupant load, type construction, area of space). 2) Sheet A1.1 notes the removal of wall and reinstallation at the back right corner of the space. This area is part of a corridor, at minimum, installed during original remodel construction. The rating of the wall as well as the rating of the required 2nd exit will be required to be detailed on the plans. There is the potential for a higher fire rating than 1 hr. if memory serves me correctly. 3) Sheet A1.7 and nor Sheet P1.2 indicate the backflow protection for the shampoo bowls. This is required to be addressed plainly on the plans. 4) This space and these individual spaces will require ventilation via mechanical means. See Section Chapter 4, Section 402 (Natural Ventilation) of the 2015 International Mechanical Code. This space does not have openings in each room or the space as a whole that will meet the requirements of Natural Ventilation. As such Section 403 dictates the minimum methods and uses Table 403.3.1.1. NOTE: The State of Washington also has amended this Chapter and it's information. Incorporate the Code and State Amendments in the Mechanical Engineer design. 5) The Hot Water Recirculation System is to be designed to meet the 2015 2nd Edition Washington State Commercial Energy Code. See below for the quantities and methods of providing the above information. 3.21.18 RESUBMITTAL: RESPONSE TO COMMENTS AS REQUESTED BY EB-JF 3.26.18 EB - SEE ATTACHED EMAIL SENT TO ANGIE THIS DATE; Hello Angie, I've reviewed the most recent submittal and find the one item left to complete the package. It's the Engineer calculations, drawings, seal and signature for the RTU and ERV units due to the weight of each unit. Plans to include any structural modifications to the roof system required. See below the quantities and methods of providing the requested information. Should you or your engineer have questions please call. 04/18/18 - ERV calculations received. Description: Effective January 1, 2013 RCW 19.122 Before conducting any construction or excavation within 100 feet of a right-of-way or utility easement containing a transmission pipeline a person must notify the pipeline companies of the scheduled excavation through the one-number locator service 811. Notification must occur in a window of not less than 2 business days but not more than 10 business days before beginning the excavation. If a transmission pipeline company is notified that excavation work will occur near a pipeline, a representative of the company must consult with the excavator on-site prior to excavation.
