Refer to TCP for areas required to have double cones to separate opposing traffic. B. Closure Permitted Sunday through Thursday 9pm -5am. C. A Puyallup Police officer is required for traffic control. contact Chief Scott Engle at 253-435-3659 or scotte@ci.puyallup.wa.us. 24 hour advanced notice is required for coordination purposes. D. Call the inspector at least 1 week in advance at (253)405-1707 E. Travel lane width of 11' must be maintained or a new TCP will be required. F. Travel lane width must be maintained at 11' both directions on 10th St SE or a new traffic plan will be required. G. Due to night work, call inspector to coordinate work date at least 1 week in advance at (253)841-5464. H. This project requires the use of a police officer. Puyallup officers will be utilized. Contact Chief Scott Engle at 253-435-3659 or scotte@ci.puyallup.wa.us to coordinate. 24 hours advanced notice is required for coordination purposes. I. Inform Pierce Tranit at least 72 hours in advance of affected bus stops. J. Road must be opened by 5:00am. K. If field conditions require additional lights, cones, or signage, the Contractor shall improve the Traffic Control Plan as needed. GENERAL CONDITIONS: 1. PERMIT AND APPROVED TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN ARE REQUIRED TO BE AVAILABLE AT JOB SITE. NO PERMIT AT SITE SHALL BE SUBJECT TO TRIPLE PERMIT FEE. 2. Applicant/contractor shall notify the City within 5 days prior to work start date and also to close the permit when all work and restoration are complete and ready for final inspection. Go to: https://secure.cityofpuyallup.org/ and click on inspection requests to open the permit and schedule the inspection. Please select from the following codes: 6950 - PERMIT START 6955 - CLOSE ALL RESTORATION COMPLETE In lieu of online access, call the Inspection Request line at 1-877-232-6456. 3. Follow approved Traffic Control Plan (TCP) 4. Follow allowed work hours Sunday through Thursday 9pm - 5am 5. If a lane will be closed, call Comm Center at least 24 hours prior to closure at 253-841-5431. 6. Spotter must be available to assist with pedestrians if needed. 7. To schedule inspection, go to: Secure.cityofpuyallup.org and select appropriate code. 8. Please utilize traffic control information below for TCP: A. Distance between cones equals speed limit in unit feet. B. Taper length equals width of offset times speed limit squared divided by 60. L = WS² /60 - W= lane width S = speed limit C. Sign spacing shall be 100 feet when speed limit is 30 MPH or less D. Sign spacing shall be 350 feet when speed limit is greater than 30 MPH E. Distance between signs is mandatory unless field conditions determine otherwise. 9. DO NOT open cut without prior approval. 10. DO NOT park vehicles on city sidewalk. Curb, gutter or sidewalk damaged shall be replaced. 11. The Applicant shall defend, indemnify, and hold the City, its officers, employees and volunteers harmless from any and all claims, injuries, damages, losses or suits including attorney fees, arising out of or in connection with activities or operations performed by the Applicant or on the Applicant's behalf out of issuance of this
