APPLICANT SHALL BE CHARGED $110.00 PER DAY TO SUPERVISE FIRE WATCH. THIS FEE WILL BE COLLECTED PRIOR TO TCO OR CO ISSUANCE. FIREWATCH PERSONNEL SHALL BE IN BUILDING AT ALL TIME AND SHALL BE DEDICATED ONLY TO FIREWATCH. CELL PHONE NUMBER OF FIRE WATCH PERSONNEL SHALL BE PROVIDED TO FIRE INSPECTOR. ANY VIOLATION OF THE FIRE WATCH PROVISION OF THE IFC OR THIS PERMIT WILL REQUIRE THE CITY TO CONDUCT THE FIRE WATCH AND THE APPLICANT WILL BE CHARGED $110.00PER HOUR DURING THE DURATION OF THE FIRE WATCH. All of the fire rated doors that are not on hold open devices should be kept in the closed and latched position to prevent fire and smoke spread. The firewatch could be discontinued during evening hours when the building is unoccupied. But, the fire alarm system shall be monitored and not in "Test" and no trouble, supervisory or general alarms shall be on the panel. All ceiling tiles should be in place to make sure that the fire sprinkler heads would work as designed. All fire doors should be in the closed position and latched (unless they are held open with magnet hold open devices).
