: 1- PROVIDE PLANS AND PERMIT ON SITE FOR INSPECTION. 2- COMPLETE LABOR AND INDUSTRIES INSPECTIONS PRIOR TO REQUESTING CITY INSPECTION. 3- UPDATE THE DEVICE MAP AT THE ANNUNCIATOR AND FIRE ALARM PANEL PRIOR TO CALLING IN FINAL. THE ANNUNCIATOR MAP WILL NEED TO BE WEATHER PROOF. 4- TOTAL COVERAGE IS REQURED; SUBJECT TO FIELD INSPECTION. 5- FIRE ALARM SYSTEM SHALL BE PLACARDED PER NFPA 72. THE UL CERTIFICATE SHALL BE POSTED AT TIME OF FINAL INSPECTION. THE SYSTEM WILL NEED TO BE UL CERTIFIED. 6- A PRE-TEST SHALL BE CONDUCTED AND A PRINT OUT OF THE LOCATION OF THE DEVICE, POINT NUMBER AND DESCRIPTOR SHALL BE FURNISHED TO THE INSPECTOR AT FINAL. 7- FIRE FINAL IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO BUILDING FINAL. 8- REMOTE ANNUCIATOR LOCATED ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE MAIN ENTRANCE IN A WEATHER PROOF HOUSING REQUIRED PRIOR TO FINAL. TEMP ANNUNCIATOR OKAY IN VESTIBULE DURING CHANGE OVER. 9- ALL INSULATION SHALL BE INSTALLED PER CODE PRIOR TO INSPECTION. 10- EMAIL NOTES DATED 10/15/2018 Good morning David, Just wanted to follow up with an email following out meeting onsite from Friday, October 12h. The follow details our plan in moving forward on replacing the Fire Alarm System for this site. Annunciator: We will temporarily relocated the existing annunciator to the entrance side of the vestibule. We will install the new annunciator on the entrance side of the exterior of the building at the existing location. Once the old system is decommissioned, we will remove the existing annunciator from the vestibule leaving on the annunciator located on the exterior of the building. Above Grid Beam Detectors: Once the new system is 100% install, excluding Beam Detection, commissioned, programmed, monitored and all wire for Beam Detection is in place, we will begin swapping out the Beam Detectors. During this process, we will physically remove the existing Beam Detectors, remove them from the existing system and install the new Beam Detectors in the existing location. This process will take a few days to complete. During this time it is under stood that there will be 2 operational Fire Alarm Systems be monitored and protecting the store. We will plan on conducting system testing once we are completed with swapping out the Beam Detectors to expiate removing the existing system. Back Stock Area: Target will Remove all Ceiling Tile and leave the Ceiling Grid in Place. Target will provide a letter in writing stating their understanding that the tile is to remain out unless the Fire and Life Safety is reassessed. The Fire Sprinkler Contractor will evaluate and relocate the below Grid sprinkler heads as required to ensure complete coverage. The Fire Sprinkler Contractor will evaluate and provide written documentation stating the back stock area has complete coverage. Wil the Ceiling tile removed, we will install Spot Type Detectors based on normal spacing. Please confirm we have the correct understanding. INSPECTION REQUEST CODES: 5302 FIRE ALARM TEST INSPECTION 5303 FIRE ALARM FINAL INSPECTION SCHEDULE YOUR INSPECTION BY PHONE OR ONLINE THROUGH THE CITY OF PUYALLUP ONLINE PERMIT SYSTEM.
