This permit shall expire if work is not commenced with 180 days or if the work is suspended for a period of 180 days. I also certify that if I do choose to hire a contractor (general or subcontractor) I will only hire those contractors that are licensed by the State of Washington. If you are a property owner, contractor or permittee and you are paying for someone to perform the work, they must have a valid contractor registration and the person(s) installing plumbing inside a structure must meet the plumbing certification requirements. • Comply with 2018 IFC and 2018 IBC • Total coverage required in the city of puyallup • L&I Final required prior to Fire Final • Exit lighting test required, contractor to provide light meter • Separate permits required for Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler, Fire Alarm contractor required to contact ddrake@puyallupwa.gov prior to design • Fire watch is required when sprinkler system is out of service in existing buildings. • RTU’S will be required to be tested for shut down • Smoke and Fire dampeners will be tested with Fire Alarm. Access doors are required for maintenance and visual inspection. • Fire extinguishers required per code • A Knox box is required at the front entry on the exterior of the building if equipped with a Fire Alarm System or Fire Sprinkler System. • Existing buildings will need to contact central pierce fire & rescue and update the key in the Knox box • All above items to be completed prior to fire final. Development Engineering standard commercial conditions: ** The disinfection systems used are Nex-Gen20 chlorinator and Acid Rite feeding systems are closed systems and will not cause a spill. See Engineering Plan Review Responses #1 (4). ** ** If a sewer sampling tee is not installed on the existing sewer lateral one will be installed prior to granting occupancy. See City Standard 04.03.04 shown on P201 of this plan set ** ** The disposal of all sand filter media, replaced every 7 - 8 years will be disposed in the trash as indicated by the applicant. See Engineering Plan Review Responses #1 (5) ** ** As noted the flow control valve is required to be set at 50 GPM. As noted on P201 of this plan set ** ** Installation, filling and draining of the pool shall comply with applicable county health department requirements. The pool water shall be dechlorinated and have a neutral PH prior to entering the sewer system ** ** The decholrinator filter unit will be installed to filter backwash water and pool water when drained to the sanitary sewer system. See Engineering Plan Review Responses #1 (8). ** **The pool cannot be connected to the Fruitland Mutual water system unless the water service is protected by a reduced pressure backflow assembly (RPBA) ** ** Installation, filling, and draining of the pool shall comply with applicable county health department requirements. Pool water shall be dechlorinated and have a neutral PH prior to entering the storm sewer system ** - A commercial development must have installed a side sewer sampling tee installed in conformance to city standard section 04.03 – side sewer. - The applicant is responsible to schedule all utility inspections prior to backfilling - The applicant is responsible to call the utility notification center at 1-800-424-5555 before beginning any excavation.
