Anchors were not provided on the plans. Simpson BP are bearing plate washers. Contractor indicated that they may use either a Hilti anchor or a Simpson Screw. Plans shall indicate which one will be used. Indicate if there are any special inspections are required per the products ESR report.
Bearing plate washers shall be specified as designated in Washington State Residential Code, Section 602.11.1.

Indicate on plans that all new walls are to be framed as none load bearing walls and will not support the existing structure. Demonstrate this in details as necessary.

The structure is shown to be 5' from the property line. Designer and contractor to show and verify on plans and on site that the walls and overhangs do not project into the 5' setback, or if the overhang or walls do project into the setback than provide fire rating per Washington State Residential Code 302.1

A site visit was conducted on September 12, 2024, at 2:00 PM to review the structure in its current state, as part of it had been constructed before the plans were submitted. Work was ongoing at the proposed structure during the visit. It was communicated verbally that no further work on this structure will be performed until the permit is issued. In your response to the comments, please confirm that this is understood and that no additional work will be carried out.

Siding shall be a minimum of 2" above slabs per Washington State Building Code 2304.12.1.5. Adjust plans as necessary. Any alternate material that is proposed along the bottom of the structure that will be in contact with the slab must be shown to be rated for this installation. Provide all documentation as necessary.
