(MET WITH BUILDING OFFICIAL ON SITE TO ADDRESS ACCESSIBILITY.) Front Ramps and handrails to the ROW. The front rail has handrails detailed on both sides of the ramp, with extensions, and appear appropriately dimensioned Front ramp to the parking area: this area should have handrails on both sides as part of the exit and accessible access from the parking area. The plans provide a couple of variations of the handrail locations, both north and south. I don’t know how to provide an exception to this ramp, due to the obvious accessible route. The architect has designated that the west ramp is no longer an exit or accessible route, by the attached revision. The code in chapter 10 provides “1012.1 Scope. The provisions of this section shall apply to ramps used as a component of a means of egress.” There should be signage added per IBC 1111 to address where the accessible entrance is located or otherwise address this area as an employee-only area.

A side sewer sampling connection is required to be installed on the commercial sanitary side sewer service in accordance with City policy ENG 21-03.  The site plan shall depict the location and connection of the new or existing sampling connection per City Standard Detail 04.03.04. The sampling connection may be installed under civil permit application PRCCP20221725 as long as the retrofit is clearly depicted and labeled on the approved civil plans and City Standard Detail 04.03.04 is included on the details sheet.
Fire Sprinkler Protection System Water Service and Backflow Protection Device Resolved Prior to Completion
