I had asked Julie Johnson to provide you with a heads up the energy compliance was submitted as IECC COMcheck and the City of Puyallup adopted the 2015 Washington State Energy Code. I also listed B5 and B10 below for clarification. B2. Provide 2015 Washington State Energy Code compliance reports. Base4 Response: Base4 has submitted COMcheck report for Energy code compliance. Please refer to the COMcheck report attached with the plans. REVISE TO ADOPTED CODE B5. A-100A - Corridor 100.1 corner wall section at room 163 is not identified. Note construction type. Base4 Response: Base4 has provided a note "WOOD FRAMED TRANSLUCENT PANEL" for the construction material of the corner partition at Business Center (room 163). Please refer to image below and revised sheet A-305. CONFIRM WOOD FRAMED TRANSLUCENT PANEL WILL BE TEMPERED. B10. These areas on the roof will require heat detection if not already shown on the Fire Alarm plans. Heat detectors are required to have 24/7 access to each device. Access hatches will be required for each device. Annual inspections on the fire alarm system will be a challenge if not framed correctly. 7. The fire sprinkler system standpipe FDC connections have no caps and are wide open to vandalism. Requirement, flush standpipe for possibly debris in system from being left open at all floors.
