BLDG PLAN REVIEW - SITE PLAN FOR WAREHOUSE DOES NOT MATCH SITE PLAN SUBMITTED FOR RELOCATION OF PORTABLE BUILDING.

Michael,
Please call me to discuss portable installation. The temporary permit was never issued and based on the current proposal of connecting water to the warehouse appears this application is to install the portable as permanent. There are other items to clarify and currently the site plan submitted for permit B-21-0263 for warehouse remodel and mezzanine addition is different than what was submitted for the location of the portable, they will be required to match. I attempted three calls and it notes no service so was unable to leave a voice mail. My contact information is listed below.
Thank you,

Michael,
Please review attach markup drawings and enclosed comments and contact me if you have any questions. Complete the attach form and upload all revisions with a response letter how comments were addressed through the permit center, PermitCenter@puyallupwa.gov. If you have any questions reference City of Puyallup website on the process or contact the Permit Center, their number is (253) - 864-4165 option 1.
B101: Revise all code reference and update to current State adopted 2018 I-codes February 1, 2015 shown in all documents. Sheet A2 has many updates required that were not addressed, see below and reference attach drawings markups for clarity.
1. 2018 WSEC was adopted on February 1, 2021 as well. All energy reports were completed in 2015 WSEC compliance forms, update to 2018 compliance forms. Include exterior lighting for proposed street light if located on private property.
2. With the code changes there are code reference that were changed in the code book, occupant load Table was modified changing occupant loads, see attach drawing.
3. The construction type is IIIB since you are claiming non-separated use, update table to correct construction type. Since you are claiming non-separated use the entire exterior wall must meet 2-hr construction per Table 602 as requires the most restrictive use.
4. M300 - Code Standard reference were not updated and plans revised to 2018 IMC
Current comments addressed:
RECEIVED B102: Provide use of rooms for all areas.
PARTIAL B103: Provide travel distance from all areas, office, warehouse and mezzanine to egress exits. A3 - Provide Life Safety plan from mezzanine floor PLAN to egress door on first floor.
SEALED ARCHITECT DRAWINGS B104: A10, A11, Calcs - Provide PCS Structural Solutions sheets with structural Engineer seal on calculations and structural plans.
RECEIVED B105: E-122, E-123 - Provide emergency lighting and exit signs through entire building, existing and proposed area.
RECEIVED B106: Demonstrate code compliance on the proposed changes in the existing building. Mezzanine was constructed without permits and noted as existing. Provide Engineer evaluation letter mezzanine meets current construction requirements on TJI floor framing, stairs, etc.
RECEIVED B107: A3 - Existing Foundation Plan - provide letter from structural engineer the existing foundation can support the mezzanine and added framing and plumbing to the existing floor plans. Include sheet A6 modifying concrete floor slab, will this compromise existing foundation.
PARTIAL B108: Did not locate a proposed Sprinkler Riser room with installation of sprinkler system. Revise all plans with the correct use change from office to sprinkler riser room so all floor plans match. Some still have it noted as office space.
NOTED - BUILDING 2 IS NOT PART OF THIS SUBMITTAL B109: Did not received any plans on relocating Building 2, it will be a separate permit. Each building requires own inspections, submit separate application with a site plan that indicates the location change, foundation plan, plumbing plan and any additional existing items affected with the relocation of the building.
NEW COMMENTS WITH REVISED PLANS TO CORRECT 2018 ADOPTED CODES:
B201: A3 - Clarify what F1 represents after warehouse, is use F1 or S1?
B202: E-101 - Confirm if electrical equipment rated 1,200 amperes or more meets 1006.2.2.7 Electrical equipment rooms (WA ST Amendment) of the 2018 IBC.
B203: Sheet A3 - Received no clarification if on stairs construction, per response letter B106 stairs structural framing was addressed, did not locate.
Thank you,
Janelle Montgomery

REVIEW OF PLANS - Hello Michael,
I have reviewed your building permit application for planning and have a few comments that need to be corrected. The application form states that the total building square footage is 13642 Sf (11,040 on the first floor and 2,602 on the second floor), but sheet A2 states under the "Building 2&3 Parking Requirements" heading that the building is only 12,727 (8,860 warehouse and 3,897 office). Please reconcile these two numbers.

BLDG PLAN REVIEW - 6/7/21 REC'VD RESUB 1: COMMENT RESPONSE LETTER, PLANS & CALCS -AG

Ray,
It appears you should have reviewed this permit due to the ongoing history on the site. These questions to my comments concern your discretion, I attempted to get the back story on this site but didn't realize the multiple challenges . The building permit was submitted April 21, 2021, long past the February 1, 2021, but whatever code cycle you allow just let me know. Also you might need to respond Mike Grimit that P-20-0137 is not a building permit but planning action. Let us both know how you want to handle relocating building 2.
Thank you,
Janelle
