June 15, 2021 Mackenzie Afdem Refrigeration Unlimited 5102 20th Street East #102 Fife, WA Permit: B-21-0421 Mechanical Units Some items that need to be addressed on these plans before this application can be completely reviewed: 1.Need have the engineer of record sign on or around his seals on the plans. 2.The submitted S pages from Engineers NW were not stamped or sealed as required. 3.Show how all of the new units meet the 2018 Washington State Energy code requirements. 4.Need to provide calculations to show the new units hanging from the trusses will meet loading and other Code requirements. 5.Need to show how each area's ventilation requirements are being met per the 2018 IMC tables and the Washington State Amendments. 6.Need to submit the Mechanical summary worksheets per the 2018 Washington State Energy codes. 7.If installing new curb adapter to the existing curbs, then make sure engineer of record has all total weights in their calculations. 8.Must show on the plans the attachment of the curb adapters to the curbs and the new units to the curb adapters for seismic restraint not just a note per local codes. 9.Be more specific on the bracing of any units being suspended for seismic restraint on the plans. 10.Add notation on the plans for the discharge of the condensate lines in the tailpiece per section 814.6 of the 2018 Uniform Plumbing Code if that is the intent of the details on page ME-2.
